Cardiothoracic ICU Nursing

This workshop focuses on Cardiothoracic ICU nursing and will cover acute and chronic cardiac concerns of the unwell patient, cardiac emergencies, thoracic surgeries post operative complications and cardiac pharmacology. The workshop is designed to be skills-focused and to make sense of important concepts in caring for the acutely unwell. We utilise proven development techniques beyond didactic presentations.

The workshop is designed for nurses who are established in ICU, and is also suitable for those that are required to work in HDU and those seeking to refresh in the ICU/HDU Speciality.
