Hayley’s professional Perioperative career has spanned more than 15 years with experience working in both metropolitan and regional facilities within the private and public sectors, and volunteering internationally in the South Pacific. 

Most recently Hayley was appointed to the role of Operating Suite Nurse Unit Manager at the Children’s Hospital Westmead, a quaternary referral children’s hospital in Sydney, the largest paediatric facility in NSW. 

Hayley has fulfilled various roles within the Perioperative department including clinician, preceptor, mentor, manager and educator and has worked across all surgical specialties with a particular interest in colorectal surgery. 

Hayley is invested in succession planning the future of Perioperative practice, and development of passionate leaders from the ground up, and beyond.
