An experienced healthcare executive, educator, novice researcher & international speaker.

Before joining HSA Group as our CEO & Director of Education, he held the position of CEO & Director of Nursing at West Leederville Private Hospital

His academic work has resulted in a Judith Meppem Scholarship for Innovation, research cited in the European Resuscitation Council Guidelines and publication in the Medical Journal of Australia, the CSIRO Journal, International Journal of Perianaesthesia Nursing and Anaesthesia & Intensive Care.

Jamie has formerly held positions as a Perianaesthesia Clinical Nurse Consultant at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Clinical Nurse Consultant of the Clinical Emergency Response System (MET) at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.

He is a curriculum assessor with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) for programs leading to a Bachelor of Nursing and was the only Australian nurse appointed to the expert panel on the Assistant to the Anaesthetist Standard (PS08) Australian New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) (2016).

A recognised & respected subject matter expert in perianaesthesia nursing, Jamie has been appointed Adjunct Associate Professor at both the University of Notre Dame & Central Queensland University.
